In the context of the Sound of Entrepreneurship project – funded by the Erasmus + KA2 Cooperation Partnership programme – the Community Foundation of Agrigento and Trapani took part last month in the kick-off meeting together with the other project partners at the lead partner’s headquarters in Paris.
The meeting, organised by the International Music Council at AGECA, was an opportunity to exchange good practices and capacity building for all organisations involved. During the scheduled two days, the partners discussed the project structure and developed a detailed action plan functionally to achieve their objectives, share their skills and experience with all the partaking organisations.
The Sound of Entrepreneurship project aims to enhance the competences and entrepreneurial skills of adults working in the music industry, improving their employment opportunities and
self-entrepreneurship through capacity building and innovation. It also wishes to create resilience of the cultural and creative sector by addressing the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic.
The project, officially launched in February, will last 24 months and will involve musicians and music professionals from 5 European countries: France, Italy, Cyprus, Spain and Ireland.
The project leader is the International Music Council, based in Paris, the partner organisations are PRISM Impresa Sociale (Italy), EnorosConsulting (Cyprus), GrowthCoop (Spain), Instruction and Formation (Ireland).
