The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus Youth Social Changemakers project was held in Trapani on April the 27th and 28th, at the operational headquarters of the Community Foundation of Agrigento and Trapani, recently established in the premises of BeeHive Valore Sud.
The meeting, hosted by the head of the project Fondazione Comunitaria di Agrigento e Trapani, was the perfect opportunity for all organisations involved to exchange their best experiences and skills. During these two days, partners discussed the project framework and developed a detailed action plan to reach their goal, share skills and experiences of all partaking organisations.
Thanks to the interactive workshop organised on the topic of visual identity and branding, partners also had the chance to discuss the project’s logo and mission, co-develop their logo and a common relevant vocabulary to use.
About Youth Social Changemakers
The project Youth Social Changemakers, Reshaping youth role in societies and fostering social cohesion through bottom-up solutions generation (Project No. 2021-2-IT03-KA210-YOU-000049530) is a project financed by the Erasmus + programme under the action KA2 Small Scale Cooperation Partnership.
The project aims to promote leadership and active citizenship amongst teenagers using an innovative educative method through hands-on activities in an informal setting. The action wants to promote both the empowerment of young people and the resilience of local communities. After an initial training phase, partecipants compete in a contest where the best ideas to improve the life of the community are rewarded.
The project, officially launched in March, will involve teenagers in the areas of Agrigento, Trapani and Zaragoza and will be going on for two years, run by both Fondazione Comunitaria di Agrigento e Trapani e Ikigai institute (Spain).
