The workshops organized by Euroform, as part of the Drop-in project, continue to be actively participated in and of great interest to students and teachers in the “Wellness” sector (hairdressing and aesthetics) at the “Scuola Professionale dei Mestieri” (Vocational School) in Licata (AG) and Mazara del Vallo (IT).
The Drop-in project, selected by Con i Bambini as part of the Fund Against Educational Poverty in Children and Youth , aims to support adolescents’ transition to adult life by helping and stimulating them to build their own life project
The activities carried out at the “Scuola Professionale dei Mestieri” represent a valuable opportunity for boys and girls who are acquiring new knowledge and skills, developing their personal and professional abilities and, above all, learning to work in a team and face the challenges of the working world.
The main objective of the Drop-in project is to counteract phenomena such as school dropout and abandonment of studies, by providing young people with the necessary tools to develop their personal and professional skills.
The participants are adolescents between 14 and 16 years old: 20 boys and girls (15 girls and 5 boys) are involved in two parallel paths in Licata, and 12 boys and girls (6 girls and 6 boys) in Mazara del Vallo.
The Drop-in project was selected by Con i Bambini as part of as part of the Fund Against Educational Poverty in Children and Youth and co-financed by the Peppino Vismara Foundation.
The project is led by La Grande Casa Società Cooperativa Sociale in Sesto San Giovanni (MI), while the partners of the Sicilian network are The Community Foundation of Agrigento and Trapani (which coordinates them), the Solidalia Consortium, and the Euroform Association.
