The Community Foundation of Agrigento and Trapani is a civil society organization, secular and independent.
We promote social, economic, cultural and environmental development in the provinces of Agrigento and Trapani.
We are a community foundation:
a neutral and transparent social infrastructure that connects people, organizations and resources to address the challenges of the territory together.
We collect and activate public and private resources so they remain in the community and generate shared value over time, strengthening trust, collaboration and collective action capacity.
We build change that lasts
We do not multiply interventions. We build conditions. We place the community at the centre as a living organism: an ecosystem of relationships, skills, care and shared responsibility. We turn often invisible resources into concrete possibilities: - culture that regenerates - community that innovates - talents that become work - care for the environment that generates fair economies We do not follow trends or ready-made answers. We build pathways able to adapt, grow and take root in places. We do this through four missions, designed to generate systemic change.

DEDALO
Our goal is to counter educational poverty and early school leaving among children aged 5 to 10, offering empowerment opportunities through an innovative, creative and replicable educational process, in collaboration with the community and the territory with a view to urban regeneration.

ALICE STEM
ALICE STEM aims to inspire and guide 500 high school students in the city and province of Palermo and in the province of Agrigento towards STEM careers, with particular attention to electronic engineering. The project seeks to overcome gender and territorial barriers through innovative methods, interconnected technology laboratories and an inclusive and competent educational network. Thanks to a strategic alliance between schools, universities and guidance and innovation centres, ALICE offers personalised counselling, transdisciplinary learning experiences and advanced tools to support young people in building their professional future.

STIV
The project aims to promote a sustainable management of European agricultural resources, placing viticulture as a driving sector in the ecological transition. Through the use of artificial intelligence and innovative digital tools, the initiative intends to provide new skills to agricultural professionals and improve the training offer in vocational education and training (VET). With a collaborative approach between European institutions, agricultural producers and educators, the project seeks to strengthen the European network in viticulture, increase individual competitiveness and ensure an inclusive and sustainable transition towards new models of agroecological management.

Competent Community Centres (C³)
Competent Community Centres (C³) are proximity social infrastructures. Living places where people, organisations and institutions meet, recognise each other and share skills, needs and solutions. They are not service desks. They are spaces of trust, learning and alliance, where the community becomes the driving force behind processes of social and economic regeneration.
