Project objective
Our goal is to promote the sustainability, competitiveness and economic regeneration of rural and coastal areas in Europe through circular tourism.
Target audience
The project targets 96 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in particular SMEs directly involved in the tourism sector and other SMEs interconnected with tourism in the sectors of agriculture, fisheries, catering, crafts, culture, sport and transport; public actors in policies supporting tourism, the environment and community development.
Activities
The project promotes the following main actions to increase the capacity of SMEs in the target territories to incorporate and promote sustainable strategies and practices linked to circular tourism and facilitate their ecological and digital transition process:
Launch of a transnational skills strengthening programme on circular tourism: 6 study visits and transnational workshops (online and in person) will be implemented involving the target SMEs directly in Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Hungary, France.
Testing of an innovative, multi-stakeholder and multidisciplinary support system for target SMEs on circular tourism (with a focus on: business strategies for sustainable development, digitalisation and innovation, sustainability assessment, branding and marketing)
Development of educational resources and an e-learning course on circular tourism
Co-design and development of 6 integrated circular tourism itineraries in the target communities
Development of a sustainable marketing strategy
Social impact assessment. The project promotes three main actions to combat child educational poverty
Impact
96 SMEs in particular SMEs directly involved in the tourism sector and other SMEs interconnected with the tourism sector in agriculture, fisheries, catering, crafts, culture, sport and transport.
120 public and private sector actors will be involved in activities to analyse the local reference contexts.
200 media channels will disseminate the activities and impact of the project.

STIV
The project aims to promote a sustainable management of European agricultural resources, placing viticulture as a driving sector in the ecological transition. Through the use of artificial intelligence and innovative digital tools, the initiative intends to provide new skills to agricultural professionals and improve the training offer in vocational education and training (VET). With a collaborative approach between European institutions, agricultural producers and educators, the project seeks to strengthen the European network in viticulture, increase individual competitiveness and ensure an inclusive and sustainable transition towards new models of agroecological management.
