Project objective

The project aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial skills and abilities of adults working in the music sector, improving their employment and self-employment opportunities through capacity development and innovation. The action aims to support the resilience of the cultural and creative sector in addressing the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic.

Target audience

The project targets music sector operators such as: Emerging/mid-career musicians, Music professionals (technicians and promoters), Music schools/training centres (public/private, formal/informal), Guests, speakers and professionals of TV and radio programmes around music

Activities

The project comprises 4 macro-actions to strengthen the SOE project educational community:

Action 1 – R1. Development of methodologies and tools for entrepreneurship education: the first phase aims to develop methodologies and tools to develop music operators' entrepreneurial skills, including focus groups with target groups, trainer training and training co-design.

Action 2 – R2. E-learning platform: contents, methodologies and tools co-developed with beneficiaries will be transferred to an e-learning platform for operators to train during and after the project.

Action 3 – R3. Documentary: the documentary will bring together training contents and tools using a non-formal approach based on rock music history, as an accessible learning tool.

Action 4 – R4. Protocols for competence certification: to promote recognition of competences acquired through SOE tools, protocols will be developed to support validation and certification of beneficiaries and educators, aligned to EU-certified training standards (EQF).

Impact

200 target groups and stakeholders involved in initial analysis and needs assessment

24 adult educators involved in the training programme

+ 90 adult learners involved in national training courses

1,000 adults, aspiring entrepreneurs, reached by dissemination activities by project end

10,000 adults reached by dissemination activities by project end
